Mandarin Associate Pastor (0.6 EFT)

We are seeking a part-time Mandarin Associate Pastor (0.6 EFT) to support our Mandarin Pastor in providing pastoral care and bible-based preaching and teaching to our Mandarin congregation.

Role Requirements

The Mandarin Associate Pastor is a part-time (3 days a week) role and will support our Mandarin Pastor to provide pastoral care and bible-based preaching and teaching to our Mandarin congregation.

You will work under the supervision of the Mandarin Pastor and your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

• Preaching and teaching ministry for the Mandarin congregation.

• Leading Grow Group and other equipping ministries of the Mandarin congregation

• Assist in the evangelistic program of the Mandarin ministry.

• Provide training and mentoring to other leaders of the Mandarin congregation.

• Any other duties as directed by the Mandarin Pastor.

Qualifications

• A person of prayer and conviction

• Suitable theological qualification from a recognised Christian seminary

• (Students in the process of completing their seminary studies are encouraged to apply)

• A demonstrated ability to lead, build and equip others effectively and pastorally

• Works well within a team environment that values collaboration, accountability and servant-hearted leadership

• Good interpersonal skills

• Working with Children Check

• Has the right to live and work in Australia

• Able to accept and work within the Constitution of Grace Church of Christ

• Belief in, and commitment to the Statement of Faith held by Grace Church.
