"…and this water symbolises baptism that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

— 1 Peter 3:21

What is baptism?

Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. The act of baptism symbolises our death to our old life and being raised to new life in Jesus. Baptism is an act of obedience to Christ; He desires for us to be baptised.  Following the teachings of Christ, baptism is performed by being immersed in water.

How do I know if I'm ready?

God asks everyone who has made the decision to follow Jesus Christ to be baptised. In the New Testament, those who heard and believed the message of Jesus Christ were baptised the same day. We encourage everyone who hears, believes and follows Christ to be baptised.

"Those who accepted his message were baptised…"  - Acts 2:41
