Our Vision

Our vision is to be a disciple-making church. Everything we do is underpinned by our core convictions.

What is a disciple?

A person who is devoted to learning Christ – learning to love Him and live like Him. Being a disciple is a life long journey of constantly making disciples and helping fellow disciples learn too.

Why make disciples?

God is glorified when people that are far from Him are given a new life filled with joy and His love. God calls His people to be involved in this rescue mission.

Who makes disciples?

All disciples make disciples with every person being a minister to one another.
Whilst not everyone is a leader with a title, everyone can make disciples through various expressions of the 4P’s. Our unique gifts and lives mean that there are things that only we can do and people that only we can reach.

Where and when do we make disciples?

We use every opportunity wherever we are to make disciples. This includes our families at home, places of work, social circles and our Grow Groups. Even when we aren’t with people, we can pray for God to help us and help them know Jesus.

How are disciples made?

Both God and His people are involved in making disciples in a number of ways. We call this the 4P’s.

  • We Proclaim God’s Word

  • We Pray in dependence on God’s Spirit

  • We Persevere through God’s timing

  • We do all this together as God’s People

Disciples can be made and found in various stages of their faith journey:

  • Not knowing Jesus at all

  • Hearing about Jesus and the Gospel

  • Being committed to Jesus

  • Well established in the Gospel and helping others grow in their spiritual maturity
