Pastor Clem and Justine

Pastor Clem Fung has been Lead Pastor at Grace Church since January 2010.  He first joined us on staff in March 2006 as an Associate Pastor, and was in charge of Small Group Ministry (known as GROW Groups) as well as Education & Training.

Previously, Clem completed his Master of Divinity theological training at the Bible College of Victoria now known as Melbourne School of Theology. Prior to attending BCV, he spent almost 10 years with the Youth With A Mission missionary organisation (YWAM).  His mission experience emphasised discipleship, evangelism, team building, training, and leadership development, and included activities locally and regionally around Australia, as well as internationally.

Clem was born in America, and grew up in the UK and Hong Kong. He returned to the US to attend university (Bachelor of Science), before joining YWAM in Australia in 1993.

He comes from a family with a wonderful Christian heritage: his father is a retired seminary lecturer and published New Testament scholar; his younger brother is a pastor in Los Angeles; and his youngest brother serves on staff with a new church plant in Washington DC.  Clem has been married to Justine since 1995, and they have three children – Aimee, Joel, and Samuel.
